Daily Manna from the Net for Tuesday, September 30, 2008 [Galatians 3:6-9]

Tuesday, September 30th, 2008

Consider Abraham: ‘He believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.’ Understand, then, that those who believe are children of Abraham. The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: ‘All nations will be blessed through you.’ So those who have faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith. Galatians 3:6-9 NIV Listen (MP3)

Daily Manna from the Net for Monday, September 29, 2008 [2 Corinthians 5:16-20]

Monday, September 29th, 2008

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:16-20 NIV Listen (MP3)

1 Corinthians 10:13 (New Life)
You have never been tempted to sin in any different way than
other people. God is faithful. He will not allow you to be
tempted more than you can take. But when you are tempted, He
will make a way for you to keep from falling into sin.
